I had the great honor of receiving a VoxBox from Influenster this month. hip hip hoo ray for free stuff! this month's box contained a Victoria's Secret sports bra and a pair of their AMAZING crop yoga pants. so first off I'm a huge fan of Victoria's Secret, so to find out I was chosen to review their products made me all sorts of giddy. The sports bra is engineered for maximum impact sports such as running, and the nylon bottoms are tight fitted and perfectly seamless. this go-to workout outfit is great for the gym, and also to lounge around in if you don't really feel like going to the gym at all.

Today marks 10 years since my dad died, an entire decade gone in the blink of an eye. I felt the sadness would last forever alongside people's awkward and embarrassed apologies. meet a mormon (me).

This past week I had the wonderful opportunity to go see the church sponsored film, Meet The Mormons. The documentary follows the lives of six Mormons (Latter Day Saints) and their families through their day to day lives, and to show the world what makes Mormons tick.  I absolutely loved the movie and encourage everyone that hasn't had the chance to see it, to go! At the opening of the film a woman was questioning people on the streets of New York City as to what they knew about Mormons. Their answers were both comical and intriguing. Their perceptions of members of The Church of Jesus Christ of Latter-Day Saints were based on hearsay, the media, and Mormons that they knew. It astounded me that so many people have the wrong idea about Mormons. Then I realized that they're simply learning from our example. It scares me to think that I might be the only LDS a person ever meets in their life. and what if I'm not representing the church in the right light?! Unfo

life update.

third week in. As everyone else starts a new semester today; I've just gotten into the swing of things with my classes. So far this semester seems like a good one, but I'll keep my fingers crossed so as not to jinx it. I still have my mind (kinda) set on majoring in Graphic Design, but my thoughts are slightly drifting towards the possibility of being a COMM major with an emphasis in PR....hmmm. I'm just a tad unsteady but I'm thinking I'll know for sure what I wanna do by the end of the term. My new apartment complex is GREAT and I absolutely adore my new bunkmates. Our personalities resonate well with each other, and our closeness in age makes me a wee nostalgic for my first semester roomies. #TheCrewIn2202. My only complaint is mine and Alex's slight obsession with Gossip Girl and inability to watch less than 4 episodes in one evening; which makes for very sleepy mornings. and me.
