YAYYY! It's finally autumn and finally my favorite season! There's just something so nostalgic about fall-time that really resonates with my heart.  The cool crispness in the morning chill and the watery sunlight just makes me swoon. The kind of happy that this season brings to me is just incomparable! and my fun fall-time favorites are as follows: to do: BE OUTSIDE. The weather is so mild and perfect for a sweater. You don't have to worry about collapsing from heat-stroke and the chill won't bite through the cable knit! So far I've been able to carve pumpkins, sit in the rain, hot tub, and go for a motorcycle ride. for our last summer fling before I leave to college, my family decided that we wanted to adventure to disneyland! sure I may in fact be nineteen years old, but for me the disney magic and happiness never dies, and is honestly irreplaceable. I was slightly hesitant to go on a friday and saturday; dreading that the lines would be never-ending and the summer heat unbearable ( like the summer's first d-land trip ) BUT to my complete astonishment and uncontainable joy, the lines were nearly nonexistent and the weather was beautifully mild! as of late I've been feeding into my artsy and creative side with scrapbooking, photography, hand-lettering and a bit of painting. there are very few things that I think I'm decent at, so when I find something that I (kinda) excel at, I'm obsessed. With my major change from communications to graphic design; my schedule is now full of art classes that I'm so excited to take. Unfortunately a majority of my fellow classmates will be art majors, so my sub-par talent is going to fall by the wayside. until then I shall indulge in my (slight) skill for watercolor and reap praises from my mother.   also thinking of making this my new blog logo, any thoughts? xoxo hk.

I am a firm believer in all things plaid. You'd think I'd have wiped Hollister clean considering the number of plaid button ups I have hanging in my closet. NO SHAME. So today I figured (let it be known my knowledge on fashion is limited) that it would be a good idea to mix two popular trends. Because sometimes all you need is a spontaneous adventure to kickstart your summer. A big thank you to my superb friends for not getting tired of me and always laughing at my dumb "what if" scenarios. You're the bestest. p.s. even though it was extremely hot, and the lines were crazy long, and Tyler got burned like a lobster, and there were crazy high schoolers running amuck (like who invited you?), and we were forced to nap on the couch in Innoventions, I wouldn't undo the trip one bit!
